âI stated: âWhen youâre prepared, because thatâs a tough thing, come to the White House. Weâre going to recognize Sarah,â the president informed reporters. âAnd similarly with Andrew, recover or not.â
Community members came together over the past few days at Webster County high school in West Virginia to remember Beckstrom.
Both she and Wolfe had been working with the military unit as part of Trumpâs national effort to support policing efforts in Washington DC.
âShe was the type of pupil that teachers wished for. She conducted herself with inner fortitude, a warm expression and a upbeat demeanor that lifted those around her,â the principal, the head of Beckstromâs alma mater, told the media. âShe was kind, compassionate and always ready to support those in need.â
Funeral details for Beckstrom are yet to be finalized.
Officials have accused a twenty-nine-year-old Afghan national with a charge of first-degree murder and two counts of violent assault while carrying a weapon.
